The Drain Movement: Origins & Development
The 860s not only saw the significant rise of “Cat in the box” movement, but also the overthrow of the Dancin' in the rain (or Drain) cultural and fashion movement.
Not just the name of an art style, Drain is also the name of a cultural movement that originated in the Underie, then spread throughout Merrowbarrow in the mid-2360s.
A part of the youth of that day became dissatisfied and frustrated with Underie's underground life, where there were only bars, brothels and gamblers. They oppose intense and continuous entertainment routines that promote freedom and thought. The famous saying: "Drain, just drain" is also from here.

The Drain Movement: Origins & Development
It was a completely new culture in that period. The Drainist youth gathered together, creating artificial rains under the Underie. Then they danced freely in the rain, imagining it was a grace from mother nature. It was a completely new culture in that period. That non-binding thought strongly influenced Underie. The Drain style is the most powerful and radical revolution of modern fashion. Drain supporters often recycle old clothes, or traditional indigenous clothes, or make their own loose and long dresses. Multi-piece dresses, skirts and pants are very popular in the trend because they are created from reusing existing fabrics instead of spending money to enrich the designers. With their faces painted in color, sometimes monstrous, Drainists often dance and pose in the rain, behind the bright city lights at night, creating a contrast between bondage and open, chained and free.
